Hi, I’m Sarah the heart and hands behind Tasty Comos.
My love story with food began long before I could hold a knife or read a recipe. Every summer, my family would pack up the car and drive to the countryside, where my grandmother’s house waited like a warm embrace. Those days were golden filled with sunshine, laughter, and the unmistakable aroma of something delicious bubbling on her old stove.
My grandmother was the kind of cook who never needed a recipe. She measured by memory and stirred with soul. She cooked for crowds for my parents, my siblings, my cousins, and anyone else who wandered in — but she always made it feel personal. Each dish had a story. Each flavor held a memory.
It was in that modest kitchen, standing on a stool beside her, that I learned what food could be. Not just nourishment, but connection. Not just a meal, but a memory.
As I grew older, I carried those lessons with me through culinary school, restaurant kitchens, and eventually into this little corner of the internet. Tasty Comos is my way of honoring that legacy. Here, I share recipes inspired by my childhood, my travels, and everything in between always with a touch of comfort and a lot of heart.
Whether you’re here for a quick weeknight dinner idea or to get lost in a recipe that reminds you of home, I’m so glad you stopped by. Pull up a chair there’s always room at my table.
With love and good food,
Sarah
